Dr Asif Khan
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Dr Khan completed his medical degree at the University of Glasgow in 2000.
With a keen interest in primary health care, he gained a wealth of medical experience and expertise across GP practices and hospitals in Glasgow before joining the Bank Street Surgery in 2006. He is responsible for overseeing all patient care from diagnosis to treatment and after care.
Shazia Bashir
PRACTICE MANAGER
Shazia has been with the surgery for over 20 years. Along with Husna Naeem, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice. Providing leadership, strategic planning, staff management and taking care of everything behind the scenes.
Husna Naeem
PRACTICE MANAGER
Husna is a professional and efficient manager who has been with the surgery since 2001. She shares responsibility with Shazia for operational management of our practice to provide leadership, strategic planning and staff supervision.

As a highly experienced nurse, Yvonne is responsible for supporting the GP in providing appropriate care and chronic disease management. Yvonne joined us in 2007 and is passionate about our patients. She has continuously helped achieve our quality targets with her professional conduct and personable approach to treatment.
Quincer Rabia
RECEPTIONIST
Quincer has been our friendly, attentive and welcoming receptionist for almost two decades. Her ability to speak multiple languages, along side her calm personality, make it easy for patients to feel comfortable discussing their needs regardless of their cultural background.
Gul Rukh
RECEPTIONIST
Gul joined our receptionist team in 2006. Being bilingual, she is also able to help patients for whom English may not be their first language. She provides an efficient and personable service for new queries, appointments and registrations.
